What this website collects, what it does not, and how student information is handled when a school uses the Softvorx platform.
Who we are and what this policy covers
Softvorx Inc. (“Softvorx”, “we”) operates this website, softvorx.io. This policy covers the website only. The Softvorx platform used by schools is governed by the written agreement between Softvorx and each school or district, which controls how student information is handled and takes precedence over this policy for platform data.
What this website does not do
- It sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
- It loads no third-party fonts, scripts, or form processors; fonts are served from our own site.
- It never asks for, and never collects, student names, records, or other student information.
Information you choose to send us
If you use the contact form, we receive the details you type: your name, work email, organization, the type of inquiry, and your message. The form is delivered to our business inbox through Google Workspace. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list.
If you book a demo, the booking is handled by Cal.com under its own privacy policy, and the appointment appears on our calendar with the details you provide there.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as the address your device connects from, browser type, and the pages requested) for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. We do not combine these logs with anything you send through the contact form.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers that run the site and our mail: Vercel (hosting), Google Workspace (email), and Cal.com (scheduling). Each processes information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose information only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Contact-form messages are kept as long as we need them to respond and as part of ordinary business records. Email hello@softvorx.io to ask us to correct or delete what you have sent us and we will do so unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Children
This website is intended for adults working in or with schools. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Student information and FERPA
The website never handles student information. Inside the Softvorx platform, student information belongs to the school. Softvorx processes it only at the school’s direction, under a signed data-privacy agreement, in the role the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) describes as a “school official” with a legitimate educational interest. Identifiable student information stays under the school’s control and is never provided to an AI service. Our Governance page describes the data-classification policy, human review gates, and audit trail behind that commitment.
Security
The site is served over encrypted connections, hosted on infrastructure with access controls and logging, and we limit who can read the inbox that receives your messages. No method is perfect, so please do not send us sensitive information through the contact form.
Changes
When we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
