About the founder · CEO & Owner, Softvorx Inc.

An educator who knows what technology should actually do.

Ruquia Shah is CEO and 100% owner of Softvorx Inc.. She brings 27 years across public, private, charter, and faith-based K-12 schools, and she still teaches, which gives the product daily field research from real classrooms.

The position

Not a tech founder who consulted with educators. An educator who understands what technology should actually do for the profession.

She built the first version herself. Personally built and piloted an AI-powered documentation system at a K-12 campus, using a Google Docs workflow with AI populating records from teacher inputs. Managed the full lifecycle, including Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) compliance and classroom validation. That pilot became the foundation for Softvorx’s platform architecture.

Partnerships. Built partnerships between school districts and Texas A&M, Texas Instruments, and SMU, covering grants, curriculum resources, and stakeholder training.

Speaking. Co-presented “AI for Job Search” at the Frontiers of Flight Museum (October 2024) with Executives in Transition.

Past performance
